RETAIL DATA BREACH UPDATE
Due to all of the recent data breaches that have
affected our First National Bank of Anderson customers we
believe there is a need to advise you of targeted schemes that
may be directed against those of you who may have had personal
information compromised (name, e-mail, address, phone number).
There are schemes that are requesting cardholder account
information and stating that your account may have been
compromised. They attempt to gain your cardholder account
number and/or your PIN (personal identification number).
Please be very careful of anyone soliciting your personal
information by telephone, text or e-mail. Any of this exposure
of personal identifying information can increase your risk of
you have been notified by Target that your personal identifying
information has been exposed then please take advantage of the
one year of free credit monitoring (for individuals) that Target
is providing to help consumers protect themselves. See Target’s
